Experience one of St. Louis’ oldest neighborhoods December 2-3, 2017
As one of St. Louis’s most time-honored traditions, The 42st Annual Soulard Holiday Parlour Tour invites guests to take a Historic Walk through featured homes, decked in their holiday best!
It will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 10 am - 4 pm and on Sunday, December 3rd from 10 am - 3 pm.
The Soulard Neighborhood is the oldest surviving, active, and walkable neighborhood, West of the Mississippi. Soulard is full of beautifully restored 19th-century red brick Victorian homes and Federal-style townhouses, dating from the mid to late 1800s. While you travel between homes, on a heated shuttle, our fabulous resident tour guides will give you interesting facts about this fun and tight knit community. You will meet the homeowners to hear history, stories, and restoration efforts about their homes. The event begins with festivities at our Tour Center, The Gene Slay’s Girls and Boys' Club of St. Louis, at 2524 South 11th St. at Sidney Street.
This much-anticipated annual event will feature tours of several Historic homes, a holiday bazaar, food, music, and much more. So come and see what it looks like from inside a window of a Historic Soulard Home. You will meet some of the most interesting and friendly people, who make up this beloved neighborhood and be left with a sense of welcomeness that will keep you coming back.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 per person the day of the event. Advance reservations are encouraged for a preferred tour time slot and are available for purchase at www.soulard.org. You can also find us on Facebook at Soulard Parlour Tour. Proceeds will be used to fund future projects to enhance our historical neighborhood. These projects will encourage our guests to return to Soulard for more unique experiences.
