Overview
We are proud of the fact that since 1976, the newspaper of record for this historic neighborhood, The Soulard Renaissance, has been written and published by volunteers of the Soulard Restoration Group. Over the years, innumerable involved and committed residents have made invaluable contributions to its pages as well.
Continuing this strong tradition is vital and participation is strongly encouraged. If you have ideas for the newspaper, a suggestion for a regular column, or maybe you'd like to become a member of the Communications Committee, we’d like to hear from you! There is no word count, no experience in writing is necessary and you do not need to be an SRG member to contribute.
The newspaper is currently published in odd-numbered months and delivered to Soulard-area homes towards the end of those months. Editorial deadlines are typically about 2 weeks before that.
We are always interested in receiving both long and short articles, cartoons, artwork and photographs. The only criteria is that content be of interest to the neighborhood.
Please contact the EDITOR to contribute an editorial, story, anecdote, prose, and other items that may be of interest to your neighbors.
