Ι) Call to Order- President Sean 7:11pm.

Dan-Owner-St. Louis BarCycle

ΙΙΙ) ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Dan, the owner for the St. Louis BarCycle, talked about what is going on with the business. He is trying to get a license from the Metropolitan TaxiCab Commission. Moving forward, he would like everyone to know he is very receptive to resident concerns. He would like to shut off operation at 10pm on weekdays and 10:30pm on weekends.

1013 Ann-The owner of the building wants to put in a combination coffee house/cigar bar. He does not have plans to apply for a liquor license at this time. Sean will email the owner with questions the board brought up.

Communications from the Board should be formal.

Soulard Oktoberfest has hired Mardi Gras Inc. To run all beer and Jager booths.

ΙV) NEW BUSINESS:

Political speeches-Motion was made and passed to limit political speeches at SRG General

Membership meetings. The following statement was approved:
“The Soulard Restoration Group Board of Directors holds monthly membership meetings to inform its membership of SRG activities and initiatives for the betterment of our community. We are a non-for-profit organization with no political affiliation. We cannot and will not endorse candidates, and, after much deliberation, have decided to limit candidates’ activities at our membership meetings. We welcome candidates to come to our meetings, meet our members, distribute printed information, and participate in our socials. However, candidates will not be allowed to speak at our meetings in furtherance of their campaigns.”

BarCycle- A motion was made and passed to write a letter of support for the St. Louis BarCycle on the understanding that they will adhere to time frames they stated at the meeting tonight. They must also adjust business practices as needed to address resident concerns.

Solar Panels- A motion was made by and passed to explore legal options to appeal the variance given to Bastille Bar to install solar panels on their roof.

Soulard Station-Motion made and passed to pursue cooling options at the Station.
