ΙΙΙ) ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Officer Miller: Positive trends of declining crime are continuing. 3rd District is doing a great job. Lots of Officers working permanent nights. Seeing a slight increase in thefts from vehicles. Also seeing a rise in bicycle thefts. Please remember to double-lock your bikes. Several City Ordinance arrests lately. Resident saw two suspicious vehicles driving around Pontiac Park the other night. They called the police. Please call 911 if you see suspicious cars or vehicles hanging around an area. A suspect going by the name of “Slug” is wanted for questioning regarding an incident of gunfire between vehicles at 2am one morning at Gravois & Russell. Shots were fired in the 2300 block of Menard. Suspects came to door to confront and possibly rob victim they had had an altercation with earlier in the evening. A gun was discharged.

The St. Louis BarCycle is back in business. It will be offering rides to the social at Social House

after meeting.

Beautification: Sign up for a free subscription to the MO Conservationist at http://mdc.mo.gov/conmag Happy Hour: Oct 5 Soulard Station: 4p-7p Auction of Garden Tour art. Salty snacks and adult beverages available. Halloween Party at Soulard Station Date: TBA
Code & Zoning/Plan Review Team (PRT): Working with several builders on projects
Communications: Will be talking about a mobile website at the next committee meeting.
Fundraising: Sign up to work our booth at Taste.
Membership: Thanks to Julie and Jay Dinkelman for the Grizzlies outing. Sean got his pitch to home plate. Next meeting will feature presentations to Volunteer Award Winners.
Residential Promotion: Still looking for Tour houses.
Safety: Officer Miller is awesome.If you want more information on crime statistics, get more involved. Christina C has stepped down as Chair.
