Call for 2026 SRG Board Candidates

Open Positions:

• Officer Roles: President-Elect and Treasurer

• Directors: Three (3) open positions

SRG members interested in running for an open position are encouraged to contact Nomination@Soulard.org or any member of the Nomination Committee directly: 

• April Flores, Neil Putz, Andrew Paniello, Veronica Putz, or Abbey Bethal

Officer Roles: 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be an SRG member in good standing

• Must have previously served SRG in some capacity (e.g., committee member or past board member)*

• This service requirement may be waived by a majority vote of the Board.

Officer Responsibilities: 

President-Elect

(3-year progression: President-Elect → President → Immediate Past President)

• Acts on behalf of the President when needed

• Supports the President on assigned internal and external matters

• Serves as Board liaison to the Treasurer and a SRG committee

• Automatically succeeds to President if the President’s term ends or the role becomes vacant

• President

• Presides over Board and Membership meetings

• Automatically serves as a member of all committees

• Appoints SRG representatives to outside organizations (with Board approval)

• Reports Board decisions and issues required notices

• Upon completing the term, serves as Immediate Past President

• Immediate Past President

• Serve as a Director on the Board

  Treasurer 

(2-year term)

• Assists with preparing the annual budget

• Provides monthly financial reports to the Board and Membership

• Maintains accurate financial records and manages SRG funds

• Coordinates annual tax filings with a third-party firm

• Oversees required financial reviews during transitions or every two years

Director (3 Open Positions):

(2-year term)

• Serve as Board liaisons to SRG committees

• Hold one vote on all Board matters
