2025 Soulard Patio Crawl
Get ready for the second annual Soulard Patio Crawl! This year’s event takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. and features a self-guided tour of seven beautiful residential patios. The walking loop covers just 1.7 miles, with only one to four blocks between stops, making it an easy and social way to spend the afternoon.
Guests will enjoy complimentary beverages at each patio along the way, creating the perfect opportunity to explore Soulard, meet neighbors, and relax on some of the neighborhood’s best outdoor spaces.
You can then chart any path you like to the seven patios.
Please note: Participants acknowledge that they attend the patio crawl at their own risk. Event organizers and property owners are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the event.

Spirits of Soulard Ghost Tour
Join SRG for the inaugural Spirits of Soulard Ghost Tour on Saturday, September 27th — a two-hour walking tour uncovering the eerie legends and haunted history of our beloved neighborhood. This unique event is part fundraiser, part immersive storytelling experience, and fully rooted in Soulard’s rich (and ghostly) past. The tour is designed for adults, not small children.

Movies in the Park — The Nightmare Before Christmas
This October 12 at 6:45pm, the Soulard CI&E Committee will be putting on a showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas at Pontiac Square Park! Enjoy the family-friendly show under the stars and enjoy free candy for all during the showing.

50th Anniversary Soulard Holiday Parlour Tour
Step into the rich history and festive spirit of St. Louis with the Soulard Parlour Tour, a time-honored tradition that has opened the doors to Soulard's most captivating historic homes since 1975. This year’s tour spans two days (Saturday, December 6, 2025 and Sunday, December 7, 2025) to celebrate the 50th Anniversary!
The tour kicks off with a champagne toast and invites you to explore residences, each brimming with architectural charm and adorned in holiday decor, transporting you to the 19th-century elegance of this storied neighborhood. To ensure a warm, comfortable journey between homes, heated shuttles are provided. Join us for this charming three-hour tour and leave with a special Soulard souvenir! Tours start every half hour from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. Tickets will go on sale this fall!

Bastille Day Parade
Soulard welcomes all to celebrate its unique French heritage for the Bastille Day parade! Reject the monarchy, join the peasants, and march with the mob throughout the neighborhood on Saturday, July 12. The parade will begin at the Soulard Market with a rousing call against the Royalty, Jeremy and Megan Mehrle, who when sighted, shall be chased VERY slowly across the neighborhood. The parade will stop at several bourgeois businesses throughout Soulard, and end with a gathering of peasants to witness the end of the monarchy by guillotine back at Soulard Park. The Soulard Summer Concert series will kick off at 6pm in the park for a full evening of celebration!
Bastille Day is organized in partnership with Soulard Business Association.

The Soulard Restoration Group and Soulard Business Association are presenting the second annual Soulard Rummage Sale, a neighborhood-wide yard, garage, alley, and sidewalk sale with more than 30 spots to shop!

Spring Safety Walk
The Safety Committee of the Soulard Restoration Group is hosting a Spring Safety Walk throughout Soulard on Thursday, May 15. Join your neighbors on this walk and ride (golf carts encouraged) throughout Soulard to survey street and alley lights that need new bulbs and document other safety issues. Meet at the Soulard Station (1911 South 12th Street) at 7:45pm. We'll then divide into groups to reach all areas of the neighborhood. Afterward, we'll meet at 1860s for drinks and appetizers!

Easter Bunny Comes to Soulard!
Hop into the spring spirit with Easter Bunny Comes to Soulard, presented by Krewe of Vices & Virtues and the Soulard Business Association! On Saturday, April 12, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pontiac Square Park, families can enjoy an afternoon filled with Easter fun, including an Easter egg hunt, face painting, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. The hunt will feature designated sections for different age groups, ensuring every child has a chance to gather some festive goodies. Plus, well-behaved, leashed furry friends are welcome to join in on the celebration. Don’t miss this egg-citing event in the heart of Soulard!

City of St. Louis Mayoral & Comptroller Ward 8 Candidate Forum
The 8th Ward Democratic Organization is hosting a City of St. Louis Mayoral & Comptroller Candidate Forum on Friday, March 21 from 6–7:30 PM at Broadway Athletic Club in Soulard. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters. The League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis believes one of the best ways for voters to learn about people seeking election is to hear candidates speak and answer questions from the community in a public forum.

City Bus Stop Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
WHO: City of St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. WHAT: Unveiling of the “Transit Stop Transformation Project” at the MetroBus Stop at 13th Street and Gravois Avenue near Soulard in the City of St. Louis
WHEN: Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m.
WHERE: MetroBus Stop at the corner of 13th Street and Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63104
SIGNIFICANCE: Transit Stop Transformation Project partners are set to unveil the newly revitalized space surrounding the MetroBus Stop at 13th Street and Gravois Avenue. A total of $115,000 was invested to convert the forgotten bus stop into a vibrant and engaging, ADA compliant space. It features pedestrian infrastructure, green space, seating, wayfinding, art, lighting and a new bus shelter designed with a nod to the history of Soulard. Those in attendance at the event will hear formal remarks from key representatives of the project and elected officials before the official ribbon cutting takes place. Individuals will then have the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring the new space. The opening comes after a 14 month-long process that included site selection; a series of design workshops, surveys and community events allowing area residents to weigh in on conceptual designs; and construction.
This is the seventh Transit Stop Transformation Project completed by the partners and the first in the City of St. Louis. Other transformations include the Maplewood MetroBus stop and the Emerson Park, Belleville, North Hanley, 5th & Missouri and Fairview Heights Transit Centers. Learn more at www.cmt-stl.org.

Bud Light Grand Mardi Gras Parade
The highlight of Soulard’s Mardi Gras season, this parade is second only to New Orleans in size and spirit. Starting near Busch Stadium, the energy picks up at Chouteau, where lively crowds pack the streets to cheer on the krewes. The route weaves through Downtown South and Soulard, ending at the legendary Anheuser-Busch Brewery—a fitting finale at the birthplace of iconic brews.
Dress up in your Mardi Gras best, grab your friends, and celebrate along the route of this free, unforgettable parade!

Mayor's Mardi Gras Ball
The Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball is on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 7:00 PM to midnight at the iconic Anheuser-Busch Tour Center (1200 Lynch Street). Hailed by ALIVE Magazine and the Riverfront Times as the “social event of the season,” this elegant gala blends the vibrant spirit of Mardi Gras with sophistication and charm. Guests will enjoy exclusive experiences, including photos with a Clydesdale, commemorative Mardi Gras beads and Anheuser-Busch Brewery gifts, and access to Dayfresh Budweiser stations. The evening features a cabaret-style dinner from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, premium open bars with exclusive AB Pilot Brewery selections, fine spirits, and wines, as well as live entertainment, circus performers such as aerialists and stilt walkers, and much more.
Hosted by the Mardi Gras Foundation, proceeds from this charitable event support community grants that have made a meaningful impact on the Soulard and Downtown communities since 2003.
