Help bring the holiday magic to Soulard! The Soulard Restoration Group (SRG) invites neighbors to join in a little friendly competition by festively decorating the exterior of their homes or apartments for the first annual Holiday Decoration Contest.

All participants must register by December 22, 2025. The winner will be determined by a panel of judges from outside the community and announced on January 2, 2026.

The prize for the winning house among current SRG members will be four Taste of Soulard voucher booklets (a $148 value), redeemable on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026. The prize for non-SRG members will be a full year of paid membership to the organization. Participating houses must be located within the Soulard boundaries (I-44 to the north; Broadway/7th St. to the east; and I-55 to the west and south). Decorations will be judged solely on what can be seen from outside the home (doors, windows, yards, balconies, porches, etc.). Registrants will not be asked to allow anyone inside their home, and decorations not visible from the exterior will not be viewed by the judges.
